Where a printed folder still works
A folder on the kitchen table needs no link, no battery and no signal. For a property where the details rarely change, and for guests who prefer paper, it does the job. It is also the safest place for the two things a guest needs when the internet is down: the Wi-Fi password and your phone number.
Where a digital guest page wins
The moment something changes, the two options separate. A new lockbox code means a new print run, and the folder only reaches guests once they are already inside. A link reaches them while they are still travelling, which is exactly when the arrival steps matter, and a correction is live for everyone who has the link.
The second difference is scale. One folder per property means writing, printing and maintaining each one separately. A digital page can be copied for the next property, with only the details swapped.
